In collaboration and partnerships with International agencies, Community SWEEP will from time to time request for expressions of interest under the UN sustainable development goals(SDGs) development priorities for rigorous impact evaluations of innovate direct service delivery aimed at the practical achievement of more than 25% of the UN SDGs in Uganda . Applicants will submit expressions of
interests and provide short descriptions of proposed impact evaluations in an initial expression of interest (EOI).
In a nutshell,
The proposed impact evaluation of an innovative direct service delivery must be address more 25% of the
17 UN Goals in the Ugandan community settings . Multi-Regional applications from will be accepted, so long as all applicants are registered to operate in those Ugandan regions .
The proposed impact evaluation design must meet Community SWEEP ’s definition of rigorous evaluation and concept of innovative direct service delivery . These include a clear theory of change, a strong identification design and the
use of research mix methods, and direct service delivery targeting the achievement of more than 25% of the UN sustainable development goals in Uganda.
To be eligible, evaluation teams must include Ugandan nationals .
Key International staff must be residents in Uganda at the time of application
and should be working for an organization that is registered in Uganda .
They must be engaged in substantive tasks in all stages of the study: design, analysis, writing, stakeholder engagement
and research communication for evidence uptake in policy and practice.
Only legally registered organizations, and consortia of registered organizations not individuals, may apply.
Organizations may submit more than one EOI and may be included on more than one EOI.
They should, however, have the capacity to implement any and all grants awarded to them under the window
Researchers may be included in multiple EOI applications,
but must indicate in writing that they are available and able to carry out fully all of the stated time commitments concurrently in the case of multiple awards.
Applicants will have to include separate budgets for both the innovative direct service delivery using
the “ Community SWEEP , One-stop center integrated service delivery approach “and an independent impact evaluation study.
